Before Tim and Revan arrive, I took a day trip to Leiden, the city where I once attended Law School and became familiar with the inner workings of ERs.

It took me almost a week to post, time which was used to recover from a wedding of my fraternity friend in England. How to sum up the weekend? Easy; castles, two canal crossing per Euro Tunnel, a wedding, no funeral, 1700km of driving, bad English food, plenty of drinks and a hole in my wallet.

I agree, quite the change in concert types when compared to my previous audio escapades. Nonetheless, you got to trust Jubin's taste, occasionally... Together with an extremely colorful and drunken crowd of disco music lovers, we watched Groove Armada's opening act, followed by the Scissor Sisters at the Westergas Fabriek in Amsterdam. Fortunately the rain was kept to the last 20 second of the concert so the lead singer could gradually strip throughout the evening program. And Jubin was right, it was a great concert!

The day of the "city games" in Amsterdam. No polevault or javelin throwing on the Dam Square, but hip-hop dance offs, drum band competitions, street soccer and skateboard ramps. All competitions were played while local tunes were playing in the background and folks were njoying a lunch!
