New York, New York

What you say, another weekend in New York? Yes indeed! With the dollar at an historic low against the euro, it's hard to resist joining the crowds on "Black Friday" for some serious shopping. Besides spending some shopping dough, we attended a wedding on Saturday where the guest were able to take the table flowers. Mind you I was holding the arrangement for our BOB. (Dutch term for DD)







PAN Amsterdam

To be taken some what serious in this town, you need to at least attend the PAN Amsterdam antique fair, preferably the opening day! Of course you go, but only to be dissapointed by the hords of folks that gather around the free sandwiches, hors d'Ĺ“uvres or cheap wine. Nonetheless, it's always nice to see a Jan Steen, Andy Warhol and a couple carats earring.

IESE Turkey Dinner

Jubin is keeping the IESE Turkey Dinner tradition going with the second installment of this event last Friday. Somehow he was able to find a turkey in city that traditionally eats more munchies then turkey. Excellent evening with the

Just a couple more weeks and my place should be done. Meanwhile the list of items to take care off is growing rapidly; will it ever be finished? We will see in 15 days!

A Funeral & A Wedding

I thought the title of this post was just a movie thing, but actually happened to me this weekend. On Saturday morning the funeral of my beloved uncle near Antwerpen, then the wedding of my best friend near Hengelo in the afternoon.


T Minus 23 Days

I cannot believe it, less then 23 days and I will actually move to my new place! The kitchen floor has it's tiles, just purchased tables and chairs, while the paintwork is getting a long nicely. Keeping my fingers crossed!
